9/10, One of the best bassists I’ve ever come across

15 tracks, 64:37, Progressive Rock

I must say I was completely blown away by his raw talent when I put this disc in. I was expecting something a lot less intense. The fact that he does 90% of the guitar and bass work on this album plus all the vocals is just incredible. He plays the bass like it was a regular old guitar and he does it amazingly well. Does it sound like I’m kissing his ass here? I don’t mean to, but it’s so hard not to when he’s got a disc this good.

The only draw back to it is that there are way too many instrumentals. It’s nice to hear his talent exposed without lyrics clogging up the works, but out of fifteen songs, there are only six lyrical ones. This is quite a shame, since his lyrics are very well written and he’s got an excellent voice. However, all the musical credit shouldn’t go solely to him. Both the drummer and the electronics man add their two cents and then some, which expertly contributes to the easy-going progressive rock that they have managed to create here. When it really comes down to it, anyone who can appreciate good talent, and who enjoys anything progressive, will truly get a kick out of this album. Run out and support this man.
