What do you get when a bunch of guys in "lite-metal" bands decide they want to get brutal again? You get To Separate the Flesh from the Bones, and they are out to maim murder and defile. Comprising of Herr Arschstein ( Pasi Koskinen: ex- amorphis) Guitars/ vocals , Rot wailer ( Niclas Etalavouri: Amorphis and Moonspell ) Bass, and Pus Syope ( Mika "kaasu" Kappinen: H.I..M) Drums, these three aren't crooning love songs here. Utopia Sadistica is a stripped, down, raw death grind monster. The majority of the tracks on this disc clock in at under the 2 minute mark, which may seem short, but for all of you into this kind of stuff, you;ll find yourself headbanging with glee in no time. Just listen to the opening track "Meat Bash". Although no new ground is being broken here, the musicianship on this depraved platter is up there, but dont expect longer songs like Nasum plays, or Pig Destroyer. T.S.T.F.T.B is more of a three riff song structure affair, almost punkish in its simplicity, but they blast with the best of them. And as for the vocals, Pasi sounds as sick and depraved as one can get. No Amorphis crooning here. All in all
a worthy buy for any gore/grind fan with enough songs, grooves, sick vocals
and blast beats a plenty. Not for the meek at heart!
