Take 1 part crossover era D.R.I, 1 part Dying Fetus, add a touch of Soilent Green and A heaping teaspoon of Lamb of God and you have RECOURSE.

Self proclaimed " too harcore to be death- metal, and too death-metal to be hardcore" , RECOURSE are bound to turn a few heads with Weakening the Structure. Tight as fuck musician ship, killer hooky riffs, and some interesting grooves are all over this disc. The songs are short, and they stick in your head like a bad hangover. Having John Gallagher of Dying Fetus fame produce and lend some vocals to a track really do the band justice....... Punchy kick drums, Sharp but dirty guitars, and just an overall good mix. Can't really say anything too bad, but if you dont like the Lamb of god vocal style, you might find this a bit of a tedious listen.

However, dont let that detract you from checking these guys out, as one can only see better things coming from them.

All in all, a refreshing change from all the so-called " metal gothenburg worship core" bands out there, Recourse is just Pure metal through and through.
