How the Great Have Fallen

0/10: Are you kidding me? This is absolutely insidiously painful to listen to.

This will be a review unlike any other. This will be a monumental event. Why? Because, for the first time ever, you will be reading a review that took as much time and thought to lambaste as it took the UK's supposed "newest prized metal outfit" to actually do this album.

There is nothing redeeming about this piece of work. It's a mass of grating, ugly noise. As a reference point, these guys sound like a horribly overwhelmed group of guys trying their damnedest to emulate Lamb of God, while apparently thinking that sloppy production is the way to help them achieve it. I mean, worse than St. Anger or the Gray-ified version of Nevermore's Enemies of Reality. No, I'm not kidding. I honestly had a splitting headache when it mercifully ended.

Oh, and the lyrics read like that of a grounded seventh-grader who is, in his own mind, "hard as fuck." If they're making a point, then it's lost on me. Cuz this one's headed to the scrap heap. Once spin was enough.
